Enterprise Password Safe version in development

We’ve put a couple of screen shots of the development version of the next release of the Enterprise Password Safe up on the Enterprise Password Safe Google+ Page so that our existing customers can get an idea of what to expect.

We welcome any constructive feedback and we’re happy to discuss feature ideas for the next version which is currently scheduled for release in Q1 2012.

Support portal launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our support portal which is designed to improve the support experience for customers and users of our products. This portal will replace the other methods of support we have used in the past to ensure that those interested have a single place to go to obtain answers or raise support questions in relation to our applications they are using.

If customers with support agreements have any questions in relation to the new portal they should contact their account manager.

Enterprise Password Safe 1.58.15a released

Enterprise Password Safe 1.58.15a has been released which updates the bundled version of Java to 1.6.0_26, and updates the user interface to reflect the product is now developed and supported by Funky Android Ltd.

Funky Android completes acquisition of Enterprise Data Safe Ltd.

Funky Android Ltd. have completed their acquisition of Enterprise Data Safe Ltd. by purchasing 100% of the companies shares. Funky Android Ltd. will transfer all agreements and business activities from Enterprise Data Safe Ltd. in the coming weeks and months.

Any customers who have any questions relating to the take over please contact either Funky Android Ltd. or use your existing customer support mechanism.

All new agreements and licenses for the Enterprise Password Safe can be bought through Funky Android or via any of the existing EPS Resellers.

Funky Android to acquire Enterprise Data Safe Ltd.

Funky Android Ltd. have agreed to acquire all shares in Enterprise Data Safe Ltd., a company which develops and sells the Enterprise Password Safe. Funky Android will pay an undisclosed sum of money to acquire all shares in Enterprise Data Safe and will become the sole owner of all rights to the Enterprise Password Safe and the secure storage software on which it is based.

As part of the deal all existing agreements with Enterprise Data Safe will be transferred to Funky Android and will continue to be honoured.

The deal is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.

Funky Expenses Plus 1.3.6 released

Funky Expenses Plus version 1.3.6 has been released and offers some user interface improvements, the ability to rename categories, and some minor bug fixes.

AndAppStore sold to Seavus Group

Funky Android Ltd. have sold all assets relating to AndAppStore to the Seavus Group.

As part of a refocusing process, Funky Android Ltd. had been looking to sell AndAppStore, and, when approached by a representative of Seavus, they felt Seavus could provide AndAppStore with the resources it needed to grow beyond where Funky Android Ltd. were able take it.

Everyone at Funky Android has found working with developers and users via AndAppStore thoroughly rewarding, and we will continue to be involved with it as and when Seavus ask us to.

Funky Expenses Ad-Free re-launched with a third off offer

In recent months Google have made significant steps to address some of the issues with Android Market which we felt hurt sales of the ad-free paid-for version of our expenses application; Funky Expenses. These changes include introducing a more robust licensing solution, expanding the number of countries where users can buy applications, and, most recently, they have started showing customers prices in their local currency, which means that they have now addressed the top 3 reasons we had identified.

In light of this we feel it’s time to re-launch the ad-free paid-for version of Funky Expenses on Googles Android Market, and, to celebrate this, we’ll be offering it at 1/3rd off the price for the rest of this month (October 2010).

We are grateful for all the work Google has put into improving their Android Market for developers and look forward to benefiting from this in the future.

Velocity Micro, makers of the Cruz range of Android devices, have made the AndAppStore Client available via their Cruz Market to provide users of their devices with access to the ever growing number of Android applications available at AndAppStore.

Funky Android Ltd. are always willing to work with Android OEMs to make AndAppStore available on their devices even if it is alongside the OEMs own application store, and look forward to helping Velocity Micro provide its customers with access to an even wider range of Android applications than they previously had access to via the Cruz Market.
