Funky Expenses Plus version 1.3.6 has been released and offers some user interface improvements, the ability to rename categories, and some minor bug fixes.

It’s available immediately from Google Market.

Funky Expenses Ad-Free re-launched with a third off offer

In recent months Google have made significant steps to address some of the issues with Android Market which we felt hurt sales of the ad-free paid-for version of our expenses application; Funky Expenses. These changes include introducing a more robust licensing solution, expanding the number of countries where users can buy applications, and, most recently, they have started showing customers prices in their local currency, which means that they have now addressed the top 3 reasons we had identified.

In light of this we feel it’s time to re-launch the ad-free paid-for version of Funky Expenses on Googles Android Market, and, to celebrate this, we’ll be offering it at 1/3rd off the price for the rest of this month (October 2010).

We are grateful for all the work Google has put into improving their Android Market for developers and look forward to benefiting from this in the future.

Funky Expenses v1.2.3 now available

We’ve just made version 1.2.3 of Funky Expenses available which allows you to add any currency you want. Previously Funky Expenses used only the currencies your ‘phone knew about, but now you can add any further currencies that you may need.

Funky Expenses can be found in any decent application directory including AndAppStore.

Funky Expenses opens door to other apps.

The latest release of Funky Expenses (v1.2.2) includes a feature which allows other applications to post entries in users expenses accounts (with their permission of course!). Developers can see details of the API here, and read about using the API in BistroMath author Berhard Suters blog here.
