Support portal launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our support portal which is designed to improve the support experience for customers and users of our products. This portal will replace the other methods of support we have used in the past to ensure that those interested have a single place to go to obtain answers or raise support questions in relation to our applications they are using.

If customers with support agreements have any questions in relation to the new portal they should contact their account manager.

Funky Android completes acquisition of Enterprise Data Safe Ltd.

Funky Android Ltd. have completed their acquisition of Enterprise Data Safe Ltd. by purchasing 100% of the companies shares. Funky Android Ltd. will transfer all agreements and business activities from Enterprise Data Safe Ltd. in the coming weeks and months.

Any customers who have any questions relating to the take over please contact either Funky Android Ltd. or use your existing customer support mechanism.

All new agreements and licenses for the Enterprise Password Safe can be bought through Funky Android or via any of the existing EPS Resellers.

Funky Android to acquire Enterprise Data Safe Ltd.

Funky Android Ltd. have agreed to acquire all shares in Enterprise Data Safe Ltd., a company which develops and sells the Enterprise Password Safe. Funky Android will pay an undisclosed sum of money to acquire all shares in Enterprise Data Safe and will become the sole owner of all rights to the Enterprise Password Safe and the secure storage software on which it is based.

As part of the deal all existing agreements with Enterprise Data Safe will be transferred to Funky Android and will continue to be honoured.

The deal is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.

Yifang Digital sign multi-year deal to use AndAppStore

Funky Android Ltd. are pleased to announce that a multi-year deal has been signed with Yifang Digital of Hong Kong to put the AndAppStore client on their range of Android Mobile Internet Devices.

Pre-installing the AndAppStore client will provide users of Yifangs MIDs with access to a growing catalogue of nearly 1,100 Android applications straight out of the box and will increase the number of users developers can access by listing their applications at AndAppStore.

Funky Android Ltd. is always willing to work with OEMs and porting groups to help them offer applications to their users via AndAppStore and welcomes Yifang to the list of groups shipping who make AndAppStore available to their users.

Funky Android decide not to pursue legal action against Archos SA.

Funky Android Ltd. have announced that they are not going to pursue the available legal options over the alleged redistribution of confidential information. This decision is based on their concerns over the future of Archos SA.

Funky Android provide Android OpenX Widget

Funky Android have continued their commitment to help developers monetize their applications by releasing a free, open source Android widget which can be used to serve adverts from the open source advertising management platform OpenX.

The widget allows developers to strike deals with sponsors and dynamically change their in-application adverts without needing to release a new version of their application.

Version 1.0 of the widget is now available from SourceForge.
