In recent months Google have made significant steps to address some of the issues with Android Market which we felt hurt sales of the ad-free paid-for version of our expenses application; Funky Expenses. These changes include introducing a more robust licensing solution, expanding the number of countries where users can buy applications, and, most recently, they have started showing customers prices in their local currency, which means that they have now addressed the top 3 reasons we had identified.

In light of this we feel it’s time to re-launch the ad-free paid-for version of Funky Expenses on Googles Android Market, and, to celebrate this, we’ll be offering it at 1/3rd off the price for the rest of this month (October 2010).

We are grateful for all the work Google has put into improving their Android Market for developers and look forward to benefiting from this in the future.
